Energy Assistance Resources for Oregonians during COVID-19

If you, or someone you know, are struggling to make gas or electric utility payments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there might be financial assistance available. Many utility providers across the state have agreed to discontinue shutoffs for non-payment during the crisis, and/or suspend late fees to help Oregonians keep the lights on in these times of hardship. Use ODOE’s Find Your Utility Tool to identify your utility providers and contact them directly to discuss options.

Other programs could be available through organizations like the Oregon Energy Fund, which provides funds for energy assistance to more than 30 partner agencies and nonprofits throughout Oregon. You can search for available programs by zip code or county on OEF’s website.
