Oregon Global Warming Commission to meet April 22

SALEM — The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Wednesday, April 22 in Portland from 1-4 p.m. in Conference Room 1E at the State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon St.

A listen-only call-in line will be available for those who cannot attend the meeting. Please call 1-877-336-1831, then use the access code 872206.

Items on the OGWC agenda will include:
• Draft biennial report to the Legislature
• Future commission work on preparing the state for disruptive effects of climate change
• Shifting timing of the OGWC biennial report
• Creating state agency climate policy accountability by Executive Order

The Oregon Global Warming Commission is a 25-member advisory group created by the 2007 Legislature through House Bill 3543. Members were appointed and directed to develop long-term policy recommendations to prepare for, adapt to, and combat global warming.
