SALEM — The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Tuesday, Sept. 15 in Portland from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Oregon Room of the World Trade Center, 25 SW Salmon St.

Items on the OGWC agenda include:
• Presentation on the EPA’s final Clean Air Act Section 111(d), existing power plant carbon emission regulation,
• Briefing and Commission discussion on the final draft of the Oregon Global Warming Commission report and greenhouse gas reduction scenarios, and
• Commission decision to deliver the 2015 report to legislature.

The Oregon Global Warming Commission is a 25-member advisory group created by the 2007 Legislature through House Bill 3543. Members were appointed and directed to develop long-term policy recommendations to prepare for, adapt to, and combat global warming.
