Oregon Global Warming Commission Forest Carbon Subcommittee to Meet July 14
SALEM — A subcommittee of the Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Salem. The public meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. - noon in the Santiam Room at the Oregon Department of Forestry at 2600 State St. A listen-only call-in line will be available for those who cannot attend the meeting. At the meeting, the Subcommittee plans to review previous recommendations made by the Forestry Technical Committee in 2010 and discuss questions related to carbon content of Oregon forests.

The Oregon Global Warming Commission is a 25-member advisory group created by the 2007 Legislature through House Bill 3543. Members were appointed and directed to develop long-term policy recommendations to prepare for, adapt to, and combat global warming.
