Oregon Global Warming Commission to Meet Virtually on March 5

SALEM – The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Friday, March 5, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m. online.

During the meeting, the Commission will discuss policy options associated with establishing a natural and working lands goal in response to its charge in Governor Brown’s Executive Order 20-04. The Commission will also discuss work planning for the next 16 months and hear presentations on electricity transmission and storage.

Members of the public are welcome to provide written comments to the Commission through the contact form online or by email (oregon.GWC@oregon.gov). Those received by 12:00 p.m. on  March 2, 2021 will be shared with Commission members in advance of  the meeting. The Commission will take additional public comment at approximately 2:00 p.m. To provide comment, members of the public will need to sign up at the beginning of the meeting.
