Sunny Day Fun: Learn How to Make a Solar Oven

Sunny spring days (with summer around the corner!) mean more outdoor activities in Oregon’s backyards and playgrounds – and more great opportunities for learning about energy!

ODOE Director Janine Benner recruited a couple of young Oregonians on a recent sunny day to demonstrate how to make a solar oven in this short video. Make sure to have an old pizza box on hand and your favorite treat to warm up!
