SALEM – The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Friday, October 7, 2022. The public meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. online.
At this meeting, the Commission will discuss:
Incorporating co-benefits (e.g., health, jobs, and equity) into the TIGHGER analysis and finalizing the evaluation criteria for analyzing actions to include in the Roadmap to 2035. The Commission is expected to finalize the evaluation criteria as well as the weighting of those criteria at the meeting.
Draft outlines for the Biennial Report to the Legislature and the Roadmap to 2035 reports – both of which are anticipated to be completed in December.
In addition, the Commission’s Natural and Working Lands (N&WL) Advisory Committee Selection Subcommittee will provide an update on the selection of members for the Advisory Committee.
The agenda and meeting information, including how to listen in, is available on the Commission’s website. Additional materials will be available prior to the meeting.
As always, general public comments may be submitted through the Commission's contact form online or by email. Comments related to the TIGHGER modeling and Roadmap to 2035 may be submitted through the online portal. The public is particularly encouraged to review and provide comments on the evaluation criteria straw proposal included in the meeting materials using the TIGHGER Co-benefits memo homework template.
