Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on January 10

SALEM – The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet on January 10, 2025. The public meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon online. At this meeting the Commission will discuss Natural and Working Lands and the Commission’s 2025 Work Plan. Most of the meeting will focus on reviewing work plan topics and will generate input for future areas of focus and priorities in the coming year.

As always, public comments may be submitted through the Commission's contact form online or by email. Input received by 12 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public will also have an opportunity to sign up during the meeting to make oral comments.
The Commission recently submitted three reports to the Oregon Legislature, including the Commission’s Biennial Report to the Legislature, which provides key foundational information on the state’s climate impacts, emission trends, and progress toward achieving Oregon’s greenhouse gas emission goals, as well as recommendations to the Legislature. The Commission also submitted an annual report on the Natural & Working Lands Fund and a biennial report on the Natural & Working Lands Fund. All past Commission reports are available online.
