Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually June 11

SALEM – The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The public meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. online.
At this meeting, the Commission will explore actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector. ODOT Director Kristopher Strickler and his staff will provide an overview of ODOT’s work to reduce transportation emissions. Director Strickler will join Senator Chris Gorsek and Representative Susan McLain, co-chairs of the legislature’s Joint Transportation Committee, to discuss the development of the 2025 Transportation Package and key issues that will need to be addressed in designing the package.
The Commission will also review its 2024 work plan and discuss the scope and direction of its upcoming reports to the legislature.
