Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on Aug. 8, 2025
The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet online from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 8, 2025.
At this meeting, Commissioners will receive a preview of the Natural and Working Lands Fund 2025 Annual Report and hear from the Natural and Working Lands Fund agencies on projects and opportunities to be shared in a report to the Commission in advance of the September OCAC meeting. The Annual Report will be submitted to the Legislature by Sept. 15.
The Commission will receive information from the U.S. Climate Alliance regarding the recent federal Reconciliation Bill and its potential impacts on Oregon’s climate programs and investments.
The Commission will also learn about climate-related programs managed by the Department of Land Conservation and Development and engage in a panel discussion with local government leaders on their climate action activities and the challenges and opportunities they have encountered doing this work.
An agenda and meeting information, including how to listen in, is available on the Commission’s website.
As always, public comments may be submitted through the Commission's contact form online or by email. Input received by noon on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public will also have an opportunity during the meeting to make oral comments and can sign up in advance.
If you need special accommodations to participate in the meeting, please contact Geoff Crook at 503-551-2235 or Geoff.Crook@energy.oregon.gov. The meeting will be recorded and posted for those who are not able to attend.
