Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on January 30, 2026

The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet on January 30, 2026. The public meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online. 

At this meeting, representatives from Governor Kotek’s Office will share information about Executive Orders 25-25, 26 and 29 on energy and resiliency, and the anticipated role of the Commission to support implementation and progress reporting. The Commission will also discuss work needed and key issues associated with updating its recommended state Natural and Working Lands Carbon Sequestration and Storage Goal and development of related natural climate solutions and activity and community-based metrics. 

At this meeting, the Commission will hear from a panel of advocates and industry leaders focused on transmission barriers and solutions and learn about recent progress and opportunities to accelerate action in the coming year.

The agenda and meeting information, including how to listen in, is available on the Commission’s website. Please note that the Commission is now using Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings.

Written comments may be emailed to the Commission. Input received by 5 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public will also have an opportunity during the meeting to make oral comments. In order to provide oral testimony please sign up in advance
