Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on June 12, 2026
The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet on June 12, 2026. The public meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online.
At this meeting, Commissioners will discuss progress toward a net carbon sequestration and storage goal being developed to track natural climate solutions on the state’s Natural & Working Lands. The Commission will also receive results from the Transformational Integrated Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction (TIGHGER 2.0) Project and model forecast of measures to reduce GHGs.
The Commission will also discuss an approach and timing to develop its 2026 OCAC Report to the Legislature. The agenda and meeting information, including how to listen in, is available on the Commission’s website.
Written comments may be emailed to the Commission. Input received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public also have an opportunity during the meeting to make oral comments. In order to provide oral testimony please sign up in advance.
