Committees of the Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually in July, August, and September, 2026
The Oregon Climate Action Commission will hold virtual Commission committee meetings between July and early September as it develops its 2026 Biennial Report to the Legislature.
The Commission has formed four committees to help inform policy recommendations and guide work on its 2026 Biennial Report to the Legislature: Energy, Transportation, Natural Climate Solutions, and a Report Committee focused on cross cutting topics and synthesis of recommendations.
At the initial committee meetings, members will discuss the approach, consider key topics and priorities, and review policy resources made available to committee members.
The first committee meeting will convene the Report Committee and is scheduled for 10-11:15 a.m. Thursday, July 30.
The committee meeting schedule, agendas and information, including how to listen in, will be available on the Commission’s website as additional meetings are scheduled.
Committee meetings are not open to public comment however members of the public may provide oral testimony at regularly scheduled Commission meetings. Draft results will be presented in September. The Commission anticipates adopting its report recommendations in October.
If you need special accommodations to participate in the meeting, please contact Geoff Crook at 503-551-2235 or Geoff.Crook@energy.oregon.gov. The meeting will be recorded and posted for those who are not able to attend.
