Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on August 14, 2026, and Upcoming Committee Meetings

The Oregon Climate Action Commission will hold a virtual meeting from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on August 14, 2026.
On the Commission’s agenda: 

  • Preview of the Natural & Working Lands Fund Annual Report.

  • A recap from initial Commission committee discussions regarding the 2026 Commission Report to the Legislature.

Written comments may be emailed to the Commission. Input received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public also have an opportunity during the meeting to make oral comments. In order to provide oral testimony please sign up in advance


Upcoming Committee Meetings

Committees of the Commission will meet to discuss preparations for the 2026 Report to the Legislature. The Committees will be held as public meetings; however, they are not open to public comment. Members of the public may provide oral or written testimony at regularly scheduled Commission meetings. Virtual committee meetings scheduled for August and September are as follows: 

  • The Transportation Committee | August 4, 2026, at 1 p.m., and August 25, 2026, at 1 p.m.

  • The Energy Committee | August 7, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., and August 26, 2026, at 3 p.m.  

  • The Natural Climate Solutions Committee | August 11 at 10 a.m., and September 1, at 10 a.m.

  • The Report Committee | September 4, 2026, at 3 p.m.
