How do Lincoln County residents heat their homes?

Did you know?

Oregon State University and the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center are working on building a wave energy test site off the coast of Seal Rock. The team hopes to have the facility up and running sometime in 2021 — and it could produce about 20 megawatts of power.

Coastal communities in Oregon are also working on strengthening resiliency in the case of a large-scale emergency, such as a Cascadia Subduction Zone Earthquake. ODOE partnered with Central Lincoln PUD in 2016 on an application to the National Governor’s Association Policy Academy on Grid Modernization. More coming soon from that project!
